During Spring Break, we spent a few hours at National Zoo checking out the animals. We started small ... prairie dogs:

Przewalski horses ... native to the steppes of Mongolia! we've seen them there, in their natural habitat (and funny that the name is Polish, another previous FS post for us)
this silly zebra put on a show for us chasing his pen-mates around in circles, away from the food pile and then braying loudly upon his victory!
