I don't have too many pictures of Ian on his birthday ... it was a school day *and* teenagers are not so keen on having their photo taken. But, I did manage to snap this one just before he opened all his cards and gifts. He's even smiling a little bit!

At Ian's request, we celebrated with a special dinner from Haandi, an incredible Indian restaurant near our house. They make awesome Murgh Makhani (aka butter chicken), pakoras, saag paneer (a spinach & cheese dish), naan and many other delicious things. We are all very fond of Indian food and enjoyed this meal very much! Happy 17th birthday, Ian!
