Some Programming

All this week son #2 has attended a morning class on computer programming.  I don't know too many of the details, only that the first couple days they taught him coding in JavaScript.  The instructor kindly lent son a laptop to work on because, of course, the laptop son took with him the first day would not boot up, even though he had used it only one day before and it worked perfectly.  There was sufficient troubleshooting to rule out all the obvious things, like is it plugged in?  and all that.  Apparently the memory module has gone kaput.  Okay, universe!  You need to stop that nonsense!

Luckily, we have a spare MacMini at home that son can use in the meantime for schoolwork and games and internet browsing while he decides whether or not to spend some of his savings on a new laptop.

This will be a short post because right now I need to mow the front lawn while it's still cool enough to be outdoors.  About 9 days ago the HoA sent a nasty gram saying that our grass was too tall and we had 10 days to take care of it.  Apparently they'll be checking on the 10th day.  So, it's day 9.  Time to mow.  Silly business, really.  Both my direct neighbors have grass longer than mine.  So, whatever.
