Brian's weekend project included some reading (he has reading homework every night), a trip to the school's Fall Fair (sorry, no photos of this one) and writing his own mini-books. He likes to tape things to his bedroom door for display and his books are no exception. His collection consists of 14 books which he is calling his 'library'. He wrote each book himself, titled them all and even made a library check-in/check-out sheet with each of our names so we could borrow and read his books. Some of the titles are: Home, School, Manners, Brian's Language, Mom, Ashley, Ian, Dad, The Weekend and I Had A Good Time. It is exciting to see Brian's creativity flourishing as he develops his writing skills. I love to hear (and read) what he is thinking about various topics and to know which things in his life are most dear to him.Good job, Brian!
