It's a Toyota 4-Runner we bought from our friends, the Vinings, when they left post a couple days ago. We thought it would be fun to take it off-roading today! So, we did. We went down by the Tuul River and bounced around the rocky roads near the river's edge. We got the tires wet, but decided not to cross this time. We weren't sure of the river's depth. But, Charles says we will definitely drive it across a river in Mongolia!! Perhaps even before the summer's through...

Charles is showing with his hands the depth of water that the beast can apparently handle. Maybe we'll test that theory. For sure we will have a fun summer with the red beast!
