Today was the second day of school. I forgot to take pictures yesterday so I took one today instead. I hardly ever bake cake ... we are really more chocolate chip cookies, donuts, pumpkin pie, brownies kind of people -- with occasional butterscotch pudding or chocolate mousse for good measure. (And because they are both totally yummy!) So to celebrate the beginning of the school year I decided to bake a cake. We each ate a piece after school today. The start of a new tradition maybe.

Let Them Eat Cake
Today was the second day of school. I forgot to take pictures yesterday so I took one today instead.
