Bowling, anyone?

This afternoon I took Ian, Ashley & Brian bowling. Our local bowling alley (Bowl America) gives children free games for every "A" on their report card ... so Ian & Ashley brought their report cards along and got some vouchers for a bunch of free games each. Today was Ashley's and Brian's first time bowling. Ian has been a couple times in the last few years with the Scouts and again with the Safety Patrol from school. We bowled two games each and Ian skunked everyone with the high scores both games! He bowled several strikes and many spares. Actually, everyone bowled at least one strike, even Brian.



As you can see in this photo, both Ian and Brian bowled spares in the first frame of the second game. Mom and Ashley lagged behind.
We all had fun, though, and nobody suffered any thumb blisters or major mishaps.
