Ever notice that no matter how frustrating a day you've had with your children that once they are asleep they look like angels? A couple days ago Brian came down with a cold and had a fever most of the day. He hardly ever sits still or naps during the day, but this germ sapped all his energy and he fell asleep in the living room around the time the rest of us were eating dinner ... it was such a funny position (how could that be comfortable?!?) so I took a picture. I have caught Brian in some very unusual sleeping positions before and taken photos (mostly from 2006-7) ... here's my sleeping angel:

about a year ago
the day after Brian turned 4 years old ... all tuckered out and still sleeping at 9 am
all covered up, a normal position
sleeping on the floor face down amongst the toys
oh my aching back!
in the basement on top of an old futon mattress
head down where the feet should be with arms up above the head!

What a cutie that boy is! Love those positions. Especially the half on the bed one. Funny.
And it's so true that we get to see them when they're asleep to remind us that we love them. :)
