Yesterday we went along with our group of friends to learn how to make Mongolian Felt out of the wool that has been shorn from sheep. It was an interesting process involving only soap, water and manpower (in addition to the wool, of course). Brian and Ashley were able to make two items each; a Christmas ball-shaped ornament and a snowman. Each child was given an apron to wear along with a bandana to keep their hair out of the process. They looked like a group of peasants all lined up together. Cute.
