The annual Fall Fair is a lively fundraiser for the Parent Teacher Group at ISU. Each grade made a game booth or activity to share and staffed it with student volunteers. This year Grade 3 made a balloon dart throwing game complete with water balloons.

Grade 8 made up a ping pong ball-juice cup toss game which was very popular amongst the teens. Grade 10 had some interesting physics experiments to demonstrate.

There was an obstacle course to run against a timer
and some impromptu one-on-one soccer games
as well as live entertainment.
Grilled bratwurst, chili and corn chowder made for tasty fare that also kept our hands warm as the temperature was in the 30's until the sun came out. Rounding out the offerings were themed baskets for auction and a raffle drawing as well as face painting, cake decorating, craft vendors, music, candies and prizes. All in all a nice Saturday activity.
Oh ... and an opportunity to soak up some Vitamin D promoting rays.
