The Aquanaut

Son #2 had one more requirement to complete the Aquanaut for Webelos.  It was probably the easiest requirement, but something he couldn't do at his July swim lessons, so we borrowed a PFD from friends and took care of it at our neighborhood pool.

"Put on a personal floatation device (PFD) that is the right size for you.  Make sure it is properly fastened.  Wearing the PFD, jump into water over your head.  Show how the PFD keeps your head above water by swimming 25 feet.  Get out of the water, remove the PFD, and hang it where it will dry."

Only a few more days to swim this summer so he's enjoying every minute in the pool.  Post surgery he won't be able to swim until the cast comes off and the pool will close for the season before that happens.
