Here's the prep work we did before the installers came (removing all the carpeting, carpet pad, nails, staples, baseboards, etc.)
The installation took about 3 days. Here's what it looked like at the end of Day #2. Just what I always wanted ... a trash can in the middle of the living room.
Being flexible ... having a snack in the mixed up dining room.
In all fairness, the basement is still chaotic, big time, because all 7 bookcases and their contents are crammed down there but the living room, dining room, kitchen and powder room all look pretty good! And, there's plenty of room for the Christmas tree now. :-)
