In keeping with tradition, I prepared some hard boiled eggs on Easter and the kids had a fun time coloring them. Although I purchased white-shelled eggs for this activity, eggs with brown shells are common here in Mongolia and that's the type I usually buy. This didn't stop Brian from experimenting with creating his own "brown" eggs, though. He seemed to enjoy dipping his eggs in all the colors, rarely opting for a bright, one-color design.
Some have very cute drawings or writings ... like these:
The next two are my favorites, however. They are brightly colored with interesting patterns and designs ... Charles made them.
