Son #2 attended a swearing-in ceremony with Secretary Kerry and got to meet the diplo"mutt" as Sec. Kerry calls his little dog. Son also attended some specific activities designed to teach kids about life and careers as diplomats and he got to eat lunch with husband in the DoS cafeteria (pizza, anyone?).
The activities were fun, he reported, but missing school was his favorite part of the experience!
