Spring Break Amusement part 1

Husband came for a visit over Spring Break.  We celebrated daughter's 17th birthday and son #2's 12th birthday while he was here.  We went out to eat for several lunches and dinners (I love to do that!).  Husband also was a sport and went with me to see Cinderella one afternoon.  That was lovely!  Additionally, we spent some time browsing nice things in both Orvis and LL Bean and then we made a purchase over at REI of a new frame pack for son #2 for this summer's scout camp (and beyond).

We also took advantage of the (still) cool early Spring weather and absence of bugs and exercised our cute little green machine (the Miata) for a day trip to see the southern part of Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah's.  There are several day hikes to experience, but since I'm not super fond of hiking and admittedly out of shape, we took the easiest one this time.  It's about 2.5 miles round trip, I think.  It took us about 3 hours.  Here are some pics of the day:
