The procedure took a couple hours, but they fared well, enduring the oral sedation meds. Daughter even had a small cavity filled, too. Her first one.
It's been a week of Advil, antibiotics, swelling, bruising, sleep (lots of sleep) and soft foods.
Both are able to eat normal foods again at this point, but just aren't quite able to fully open their mouths wide, like for yawning.
I was able to take a couple pics with my phone to mark the occasion. Teens are not that interested in being in photos, though, so these are the best that I got.

It was rather quiet that day with them both sleeping for about 7 hours post surgery. And with mouths full of gauze it would have been hard to talk much anyway, even if they had been awake.
Two down, one to go. The third is going to need orthodonture soon. Ugh. Not looking forward to that.
