Cub Scout Day Camp - the Wild Wild West

Husband volunteered to staff the whole week of cub scout day camp.  He was in charge of one of the Outdoor Skills stations.  Since the theme was Wild Wild West, day one was sifting for gold nuggets.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who made this week a success for the 120+ cub scouts in attendance. This is our last one, since next April son #2 will move up to Boy Scouts and be eligible to attend 11-year old scout camp in the summer.  Husband and son #1 staffed that overnighter this year, too.

In fact, it was the weekend before the cub day camp so husband will probably need a long shower and a good night's sleep tonight.  He has certainly earned both ... and then some.
