This reminds me of the first time we lived at Oakwood Apartments about 14 years ago. Son #1 and daughter were pretty little (ages 3 & 1) and spent hours and hours playing. I was their favorite toy! We had a grand time making a neat playhouse out of our air freight boxes (sorry, Oakwood, for ruining that steak knife cutting windows and doors in the heavy duty cardboard) and then decorating it with crayons and stickers. They played in that playhouse a lot during those few months. Kids don't need expensive toys. They just need you. And maybe a few cool boxes.
