Last week when it was super hot we spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese. Son #2 loves to play the games and earn tickets he can trade for prizes. His favorite game was the Deal or No Deal machine. He brought his own money to purchase 100 tokens and used many of them to play DoND. Here he is selecting his case ...
And here he is with a perfect game winning the maximum number of tickets! He did this TWICE!
He made so many good deals that he turned his tokens into more than 750 tickets ... here he is feeding them to the ticket muncher ...
Son #2 even shared a few of his tokens with me and we played Skee Ball together. That's my all time favorite arcade style game. He was thrilled to be able to trade his tickets for some cotton candy and a few trinkets before we headed home. He's 10 and even though most of the kids there were younger, he proved it's still a place "where a kid can be a kid."
