Perfecting His Strokes

Son #2 is taking swimming lessons for two weeks this summer.  He is pretty good at freestyle already, having taken intermediate swim lessons last summer, but is working hard on putting together butterfly, back stroke and breast stroke this year in the advanced class.  He is thrilled that a couple friends from last summer's class are in his class again this year, especially his friend T who is the only other boy in the class.  It also helps that the instructor is awesome!  Falls Church City Parks and Recreation runs the classes and they've selected great instructors both years son has had these lessons.  Very pleased.

Another great thing about these lessons is that in addition to the certificate son #2 will earn, he will satisfy most of the requirements for the Webelos Aquanaut activity badge.
